Friedman's excellent 248-page history of "Palestine" as another millennium turned into the 19th century.
In the opening chapter, Friedman recounts the claims of Palestine Liberation Organization Chairman Yasser Arafat on Nov. 13||...provides the texture of old Palestine in a manner that is graphic and almost tactile.
